Active Council will
be heading to Penrith on Saturday 10 October for the Cumbria Association of Local Councils (CALC) Annual General Meeting.
Taking place at the Roundthorn Country House Hotel, the AGM brings together clerks, councillors and representatives from parish and town councils across Cumbria, providing a great opportunity to meet, share ideas and discuss some of the challenges facing local councils.
If you’re attending, make sure you drop by the Active Council stand and say hello.
We’ll be offering a sneak preview of our new and improved council website software, which we’ve been developing to make managing your council website quicker, simpler and more efficient.
The new system builds on our experience of supporting parish and town councils, with a particular focus on streamlining day-to-day website administration for clerks and council officers.
We’ll also be available throughout the day to chat about:
Accessible and compliant parish and town council websites
.gov.uk domain names
Microsoft 365 and council email
Website accessibility and WCAG 2.2 AA
Making your council website easier to manage
Whether you’re already an Active Council customer or simply interested in seeing what we can offer, we’d love you to stop by for a chat.
We look forward to seeing you in Penrith!
